AI Use Information

When I am paying for a product, I want to know what I am buying. And it is only fair to want to know whether what you're spending your money on is generic AI-generated content or original content.

So, here is what you can expect from The Almanac (and A Well-Tended Practice as a whole) regarding AI use:

• I write all first drafts myself.

• I often use Claude to help me brainstorm and edit for clarity and length (and to remove excess parentheses). I also use Claude Design to format handouts.

  • I never, ever put patient information into AI models, and my (paid) model has training turned off.

• I use Grammarly for spell check and occasional grammar checks.

• Gemini butts in when I do a Google search for information, and that info may contribute to my research.

• Final edits are always my own and are often extensive.

Throughout each lesson, I include many details and suggestions from experience running my own practice and working with other practitioners. The stories and personal experiences are all genuine and not written by AI.
